That is the business, and it is why the free guides and tools don't need to sell you anything.

Subscriptions

There is one plan with everything on it. Your first property is free, permanently, and each property after that is charged monthly, with the total capped at £50 a month. The rate you sign up at is locked — see the price promise and pricing.

The one commission

When you order a tenant reference through the letting tools, we may earn a commission from the referencing company. It is disclosed beside the link, in these words: “We may earn a commission if you order a reference through this link. It costs you no more than going direct, and it plays no part in what we show you here.”

What we don't do

  • No advertising, and no paid placement in our guides, tools or newsletter.
  • No referral fees from the agents and accountants who work with landlords on LetBuddy.
  • No selling of data — who we share it with, and why.

Common questions

Can a company pay to be recommended in your guides or tools?

No. The guides and free tools are written by us and nobody pays to appear in them. Where we name a provider, it is because it is relevant to the task.

Do you earn anything from referencing?

We may, where we have an arrangement with the referencing company. Any commission is disclosed next to the link when you order, it costs you no more than going direct, and it makes no difference to which providers we show you.

Do letting agents or accountants pay you a referral fee for landlords?

No. Agents and accountants can use LetBuddy with their landlord clients, and the arrangements are on our partners pages, but nobody pays us for introductions to you and we don't pay commission for introductions either.

Do you sell landlords' or tenants' data?

No. Data is shared only with the services that run specific features, as set out in our privacy policy.
