A member benefit that isn't a discount code
Associations get offered member benefits every week, and most are a percentage off something members weren't going to buy. This is different: something every member can use for nothing, material you can put in front of them that doesn't read as an advert, and terms you can read before deciding whether our name goes near yours.
Every member's first property free, permanently
Not a trial and not a code. The whole product on one property, no card, no countdown. It's the same offer every landlord gets, so it never expires, never needs reissuing, and never leaves your association having promised something that lapsed.
Material written for your members
Compliance, possession under Section 8, the PRS database, MTD. Written to be useful to a landlord in your area, not to sell. Attribution is your call. We won't make a mention of LetBuddy a condition of publishing it.
Joint sessions on what has changed
A member evening or online session on the Renters' Rights Act, the register, or quarterly MTD. Practical, dated, with the limits stated. We bring the content, you bring the room.
Written for where your members are
Deposit deadlines, possession routes and registration schemes differ across the four nations. The product and any material we write follow the property's nation rather than defaulting to England. An association in Cardiff or Glasgow gets its own rules, not a footnote.
What we ask in return
That members are told it exists. A line in a newsletter, a mention at a meeting, a page on your site, with a link that carries your association's tag so you can see what it brought. That's all. No exclusivity, no target, no list, and nothing stored about who clicked.
If you'd like something more formal, such as a member rate, a recognised-supplier arrangement or a regular slot, we're open to it. Whatever is agreed is written down with how either side ends it. The agent arrangement on the main partners page is published with its end condition attached, and an association arrangement would be handled the same way.
What this is not
We don't pay for a recommendation and we don't want your membership list. A benefit an association is paid to promote is one its members learn to ignore.
LetBuddy is not affiliated with or endorsed by the NRLA or any other association unless a page on this site says so. If your association agrees an arrangement with us, the wording of any public mention is agreed with you first.
It doesn't give legal or tax advice. It holds the dated record of what a landlord did and tells them when the next thing is due. The advice stays with your advice line and their accountant.
It doesn't hold client money, list on the portals, or run a tenant app. Those limits are stated on every page here so a member who tries it isn't surprised.
Common questions
What do our members actually get?
The same thing every landlord gets: their first property free permanently, with every feature and no card. Members with more properties pay per property beyond the first. We'd rather offer something that's already true for everyone than a code that expires and has to be renegotiated.
Do you want to sell to our members directly?
We want members to know LetBuddy exists and to try it on one property for nothing. We don't want your list. Any link in your newsletter carries an association tag so both sides can see what it brought. No member data changes hands and nothing is stored about who clicked.
We're in Scotland / Wales / Northern Ireland. Does it apply?
Yes. Each property has a nation and the rules follow it: the deposit deadline, the possession route, and Scotland's and Wales's landlord registers rather than England's PRS database. Material we write for an association outside England is written for that nation.
Is there a formal recognised-supplier scheme?
Not a published one. We're open to a recognised-supplier arrangement, a member rate, or a plain recommendation with nothing attached. Whatever is agreed is written down, including how it ends.
